The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), the defending champions of IPL, got out of the event this year after the defeat against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Kolkata, under the leadership of Ajinkya Rahane, lost its opening encounter against Bengaluru at the Eden Gardens. However, they were not consistent with their performance, having lost one game just after a victory. That continued for the first half of the season.
But a few results didn’t go their way, including the two-wicket defeat against the Chennai Super Kings. Kolkata Knight Riders picked up five wickets inside the first six overs of the innings but couldn’t hold the momentum with the ball. One of the biggest issues for the franchise was its Indian fast bowling department.
Apart from Varun Chakravarthy and Sunil Narine, most of them have underperformed with the ball. The former picked up 17 wickets in 12 innings at an economy rate of seven, while Narine has also contributed with so many fabulous performances with the ball.
In the batting department, Kolkata Knight Riders will have to start discussing their batting order for the upcoming season. The recent reports have also claimed that Venkatesh Iyer could leave the side after his poor show in the IPL 2025.
Here are the three Indian players from the Kolkata Knight Riders who can make their International debut after the IPL 2025
1. Vaibhav Arora
Just like Harshit Rana, who debuted for India last year during the Border Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) 2024-25 against Australia down under and during the home ODI series against England, Vaibhav Arora is another Kolkata Knight Riders’ pacer to make his debut after the IPL 2025.

Arora is the sixth leading wicket-taker of the season with 16 wickets in 11 innings at an average of 24.43 and a strike rate of 14.43. He has bowled in different phases of the game with an economy rate just over 10, thanks to the best bowling figure of 3/29 in an innings.
Arora has the pace and bowls in the hard length of the surface. He is also smart and can make a move for the opponent batter.
2. Angkrish Raghuvanshi
The 20-year-old top-order batter for the Kolkata Knight Riders, Angkrish Raghuvanshi, has been impressive in the last couple of seasons of the event. In 28 innings of the formats, he has smashed 671 runs at an average of nearly 28 with a strike rate of 138.63, thanks to two half-centuries at the best score of 54 runs.
Raghuvanshi, during this IPL 2025, has smashed 286 runs in 10 innings at an average of 35.75 and a strike rate of 145.17, with the help of one fifty.

Raghuvanshi is a balanced batter and has the knack of adjusting to any situation in the game. When KKR lost wickets regularly, he has also shown how to keep wickets in hand and make the right balance between defense and aggression.
3. Anukul Roy
The left-arm spinner for the Kolkata Knight Riders, Anukul Roy, can pick wickets with the new ball. In 57 innings, he has picked up 38 wickets at an economy rate of just over seven and an average of 33.10.
With the bat, the spinner has also contributed with 657 runs at a strike rate of 150, with one fifty on his name. He could come into the national side if the selectors find him the right person for the job.
