The Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) came into IPL 2025 with a lot of expectation, having signed the costliest player of the league in the form of Rishabh Pant for a price of INR 27 crore. However, his captaincy hasn’t been up to the mark.

Lucknow Super Giants began the season with just one defeat in the first three encounters before collecting three wins in the competition. Interestingly, they lost the entire momentum in the business end of the tournament with five losses in the last six fixtures of the event.

Their last defeat against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at home eliminated them from the tournament. Pant’s batting has been a concern for the team. The southpaw batter has collected just 135 runs in 11 innings at an average of 12.27 and a strike rate of 100 with the help of one half-century.

For the Lucknow Super Giants, a few youngsters and veterans have performed well, but none of these contributions have come as a team. That’s the missing puzzle for the franchise this year. Pant, probably taking the captaincy pressure, hasn’t found himself in the runs.

Meanwhile, a few injuries have also created pressure on the team, as they needed to tweak a lot of plans.

Here are the three Indian players from Lucknow Super Giants who can make their international debut after IPL 2025

In 72 innings, the right-handed batter has smashed 1582 runs at an average of just below 30 and a strike rate of 138.28, thanks to nine half-centuries at the best score of unbeaten 80 runs.
