Several fans before the beginning of IPL 2025 admitted the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) to the playoffs. In the last season, the runners-up of the event displayed their aggressive batting to nail the big shots consistently around the park against all the opposition.
Sunrisers Hyderabad has already been eliminated from the group-stage fixture with just four victories in 12 games at a net run rate of -1.005. After their opening victory at home against the Rajasthan Royals by 44 runs, they earned four successive defeats.
However, they lacked consistency throughout the entire tournament. After their victory over the Punjab Kings, they slipped twice on back-to-back occasions, while a few results didn’t go their way. Pat Cummins’ captaincy gained the spotlight on many clashes, including the form of the southpaw opener, Travis Head.
Abhishek Sharma is the leading run-getter of the Sunrisers Hyderabad this year with 373 runs in 11 innings at an average of 33.90 and a strike rate of 192.96, thanks to one century and one fifty at the best score of 141 runs. Mohammad Shami, whom the franchise signed to pick several powerplay wickets, struggled with form and rhythm.
Here are the three Indian players from the Sunrisers Hyderabad who can make their international debut after the IPL 2025.
1. Aniket Verma
During the franchise T20 event of Madhya Pradesh, the middle-order batter, Aniket Verma, impressed with fiery knocks for the Sunrisers Hyderabad. This year, in 10 innings of the IPL 2025, the right-handed batter has smashed 198 runs at an average of 24.75 and a strike rate of 155.90, thanks to one fifty at the best score of 74 runs.

Verma’s best knocks came when the side would be under pressure, losing regular wickets. The 23-year-old showed his incredible temperament when they were struggling for runs against the Delhi Capitals in Vizag.
Apart from this, he has been consistent and at a young age could attract athe ttention of the BCCI selectors. He has the power and can also play a few defensive innings if required.
2. Atharva Taide
The 25-year-old batting all-rounder Atharva Taide has been electric in the shortest format of the game. In 53 T20 innings, the right-handed batter has smashed 1492 runs at an average of 30.44 and a strike rate of 140.88, thanks to six half-centuries at the best score of 97 runs.
Taide, who featured in just one clash for the Sunrisers Hyderabad to score 13 runs, bashed 186 runs in seven innings of the IPL 2023. He carried an average of 26.57 and a strike rate of 144.18 for the Punjab Kings, with the help of two half-centuries.

Taide is a middle-order batter and can contribute with many vital knocks under pressure if required.
3. Simarjeet Singh
The right-arm pacer, Simarjeet Singh, has the pace and can bowl into the hard lengths to earn success, especially in the middle overs. The Sunrisers Hyderabad fast bowler has collected 11 wickets in 14 innings of the IPL at an economy rate of 10, including his two wickets this year in four innings.
Due to his high economy of over 14 in four innings, Simarjeet didn’t get the chance for the rest of the IPL 2025. However, if he can bowl at the right length for a longer time, he has the skill of picking wickets. The Delhi pacer has earned 44 scalps in 39 innings at the T20 economy rate of 8.29.
