Rohit Sharma has broken so many records in his international career for India. One of those is the 264-run knock against Sri Lanka in 2014, which is still the highest individual knock in an ODI inning. Many batters since then have crossed the 200-run mark, but getting even near the 250-run mark has been a hard job.

India’s Shubman Gill celebrated a double century against the Kiwis in 2023 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. Ishan Kishan also smacked a fine 200 against Bangladesh. With the game fast-tracking into the shortest format, it won’t be an issue for any young batter to cross the 264-run mark.

It might sound surprising, but Narayan Jagadeesan has already crossed Rohit Sharma’s 264-run knock, but that didn’t come while playing for India.
