The last time the blue brigade and Pakistan faced each other in a bilateral series was in 2012, when the Green Brigade made a trip to the other side of the border. On the other hand, the blue brigade’s last visit to the neighboring country was in 2008 during the Asia Cup and in 2006 for a bilateral series.

In the last 13 years, both sides have met each other only in ICC tournaments, with Pakistan visiting India twice for the 2016 T20 World Cup and the 2023 ODI World Cup. However, on occasions of going to Pakistan, they have refused to do so by playing their games at a neutral venue.

With the attack, it’s nearly confirmed that both of them will now meet each other in a neutral venue during the upcoming Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 and the T20 World Cup 2026.
