Cutting was instrumental in Sunrisers Hyderabad winning their first-ever IPL trophy in the 2016 final. He helped SRH reach 208/7 by smashing a scorching 39* runs off of just 15 balls. David Warner, the captain, had earlier scored an incredible 69 runs off 38 balls.

Cutting was named Man of the Match for his outstanding performance in the final. For RCB supporters, his most recent message evoked those bittersweet memories of how close they were to winning the championship that season and how they are still chasing that moment of glory.

The reel had a text saying, "RCB—We finally won our first IPL trophy. Meanwhile, Ben Cutting—hold my beer." It was a reminder of the 2016 IPL final, where Cutting’s brilliant performance crushed RCB’s dream of winning their first title.
Ben Cutting shared the post on his Instagram and said in the caption, "Keep getting tagged in these edits, one of the great career highlights. Thank you."
