Chaos Expected For India vs England ODI In Cuttack; Security Tightened Ahead Of The Match

India is poised to host England in a three-match ODI series before the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The series will begin tomorrow (6th February) at the VCA Stadium in Nagpur.
Following that, the focus will shift to the second ODI, which will be held on Sunday (9th February) at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack, Odisha. The last match of the series between the teams is scheduled for Wednesday (12th February) at the Narendra Modi International Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Preparations for the IND vs ENG series are well underway. Aside from the players, the management of all three venues has ensured that security and other logistics are in order ahead of the encounter between the two cricketing heavyweights.

The Barabati Stadium in Cuttack, Odisha, where India will play the second ODI, will see increased security. According to reports in PTI, the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) would also conduct beautifying, cleanliness, and fogging operations in the area before the match.
According to sources, a high-level conference was held involving officials from the district government, the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA), the Odisha Olympic Association, the police and health departments, and the CMC to discuss the plans for India's second ODI against England.
Cuttack DCO shares an official update
Cuttack Deputy Commissioner of Police Jagmohan Meena talked about security, saying that entry and exit of people will be regulated through four designated gates.
"The entry and exit of people will be regulated through four designated gates, with personnel stationed to manage security and sanitation,” he told PTI.

Special bus services will operate for fans for the second India vs. England ODI in Cuttack
Not only that, but the district health department will also send out ambulances and medical teams to respond to emergencies on matchday. Food safety authorities have also been instructed to monitor cleanliness standards at stalls.
According to sources, customized bus services would be available from Cuttack's Netaji Bus Terminal, Trishulia, and the train station to make things easier for supporters. This was confirmed by a PTI official.
Cuttack is buzzing with anticipation for the IND vs ENG match. According to sources in Dainik Jagran, there has been a mix-up among fans in terms of ticket purchases. It is reported that nearly 15 people have been hurt.
