On Sunday, March 23, when CSK and MI played in Chennai, Deepak Chahak had a strange night. This time, Chahar, a vital member of CSK's team in recent years, was representing their bitter rivals, the Mumbai Indians.

Although it would have been strange to play against his favorite side, the former CSK cricketer enjoyed himself with the bat and ball overall.

Deepak Chahar enjoyed himself with the bat and the ball, even if the Mumbai Indians lost the game. The 32-year-old demonstrated his batting prowess in the opening innings of the game by batting at No. 9 and scoring an undefeated 28 off just 15 balls.

He hit two fours and two sixes in his knock, which helped MI surpass the 15-run threshold. After that, Chahar came back and continued to play for the Chennai Super Kings like he had in the past. He startled opener Rahul Tripathi with a bouncer and took a wicket with the new ball.

He bowled two overs with the new ball and finished the match with 1-18 in two overs
