“This was his second Level 1 offense under Article 2.5 this season, and hence, Digvesh Rathi has accumulated Two Demerit Points, in addition to One Demerit Point which he accumulated during LSG’s match against Punjab Kings on April 01, 2025.The media statement of the Indian Premier League (IPL) added.

“For Level 1 breaches of the Code of Conduct, the Match Referee’s decision is final and binding.The statement added.

The latest level 1 code of conduct breach came with a bigger fine for Digvesh Rathi, even though he was some distance away from the batter. Two demerit points will keep him on the edge of getting one game for 36 months.

For Rishabh Pant, it’s his first offense of the season for a slow over rate, which also meant they kept one fielder in the ring during the last over of the bowling.

“As this was his team’s first offense of the season under Article 2.22 of the IPL Code of Conduct, which pertains to minimum over-rate offenses, Rishabh Pant was fined INR 12 Lakh.The media statement revealed.
