Gautam Gambhir, the Indian team's head coach, has confronted the reports that things are not going well in the dressing room. He stated that there will be many discussions when things do not go their way, but no one will speak up when they win.

Team India under Gautam Gambhir has been on a roller coaster ride. While the squad is failing to get going in Tests and ODIs, Suryakumar Yadav has been spot-on in the game's shortest format.

India, after a poor showing in the Tests against New Zealand at home, where they lost 3-0, and Australia, where they lost 3-1, looked solid in the five-match T20I series against the England National Cricket Team.

Under Gautam Gambhir, India defeated the England National Cricket Team 4-1. The Men in Blue overpowered the Jos Buttler-led team with bat and ball throughout the series.

Following the Test series loss to Australia, Gautam Gambhir's status as head coach came under intense scrutiny. Many stories indicated that things were not right in the Indian dressing room, as the head coach's equation was not well.

Gautam Gambhir replies to critics over dressing room issues

Gautam has responded to all criticism with flair. He addressed the rumors, stating that once the team begins to win, everything falls into place, and emphasizing that when the team fails, many things about the dressing room will be revealed.

"They have played a lot of cricket with each other. More importantly, a month back, there were a couple of other rumors flying around (laughs). That's what Indian cricket is all about. There will be so many things said about the dressing room when things are not going okay. But once results start going in your favor, things start falling in place,” Gambhir told Star Sports.

India demolish England in Mumbai

India won the five-match T20I series against England's National Cricket Team 4-1. The focus now goes to the three-match ODI series between the teams, which begins on February 6th in Nagpur.

India's senior players will return for the One-Day Internationals. Rohit Sharma will head the team, and Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant, Shubman Gill, and Shreyas Iyer will also return. This will also be the team's final series before the ICC Champions Trophy in 2025.
