Gautam Gambhir, currently the head coach of the Indian team in all three formats, has dubiously joined another T20 league as a mentor. He has done this while being in an active contract with the BCCI as the head coach.

Following the 2024 T20 World Cup, Gautam Gambhir, who won the 2007 T20 World Cup and 2011 World Cup with India, was appointed head coach of Team India. He previously held the position of mentor for the Kolkata Knight Riders, one of the IPL's most successful teams, after he had led the KKR side to the IPL 2024 championship.

By winning the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, the Indian cricket team has accomplished yet another significant feat. Since it was Gautam Gambhir's first significant victory as Team India's coach, this championship was especially meaningful to him.

Gautam Gambhir to become mentor once again, this time outside IPL

Gautam Gambhir, the current head coach of the Indian cricket team, has been named as the mentor for a cricket festival that is being held in Chhattisgarh. April through May is when this summer camp will begin. Its trial matches, however, will only take place on March 22 and 23.

The Emerging Cricket Ground in Raipur will host these games. Gautam Gambhir will be seen teaching the aspiring players the motto of becoming champions during this summer camp.

A total of 90 young cricketers from the Under-16 and Under-16 categories will be included in this camp and will be selected through trials to be held on March 22 and 23. Gambhir will provide coaching and important tips to these young players from his experience so that future cricket stars can be prepared.
