Gautam Gambhir Receives Death Threat; Indian Team Future In Darkness?

"ISIS Kashmir" has allegedly threatened to kill the India Team head coach and former BJP MP Gautam Gambhir following the horrific Pahalgam attack. On April 22, "ISIS Kashmir" sent Gautam Gambhir two terrifying emails including threats.

"I kill U" was the straightforward yet terrifying message. The Indian head coach approached Delhi Police for his and his family's safety after receiving the first email in the afternoon and the second in the evening, according to ANI.

According to the report, on Wednesday, April 23, Gambhir went to the Delhi Police and formally asked them to take action over the threats.

The former Indian cricket player also contacted the DCP of Central Delhi and lodged a report for a formal complaint (FIR) at the Rajinder Nagar Police Station, asking for prompt action to protect him and his family.

A horrific terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, had been sharply denounced by Gambhir.

The Indian head coach denounced the horrifying bloodshed that killed 26 innocent visitors after terrorists opened fire in the Baisaran meadow on the social networking site X.

Gautam Gambhir’s criticism of the Pahalgam terrorist attack gets him death threats

Gautam Gambhir, the current head coach of the Indian cricket team and a former BJP MP, received a death threat from 'ISIS Kashmir,' according to ANI, which cited Gambhir's office. He went to the Delhi Police on Wednesday, requesting actions to protect his family's safety and submitting a formal complaint for a formal complaint (FIR).

The Delhi Police would probably conduct a thorough investigation into the threat and take all required precautions to keep Gambhir and his family safe. They did not specify the kind of security they want to offer the former BJP MP, but it is anticipated that they will bolster security surrounding him and his family.

“We have been informed about an alleged threat mail received on an email ID associated with Gautam Gambhir. The same is being investigated. He is already a Delhi Police protectee, and we do not comment on specific security arrangements,” Delhi Police stated as per ANI.

Well, Gambhir has been the target of attacks before. When he was a member of parliament in November 2021, he had received a similar threat. However, the nation was still in sorrow for the horrific Pahalgam terror assault when this most recent attack occurred.
