RCB’s performance in the powerplay over vs KKR in IPL 2025

Bengaluru started in the same effective fashion against Kolkata. Suyash Sharma dropped a dolly in the third over before Quinton de Kock smashed a boundary. The South African batter couldn’t time the short ball from Josh Hazlewood and found the wicket-keeper’s hand. For the next 12 balls, KKR could manage only one boundary.

But then Ajinkya Rahane decided to free his arms from the third over as he nailed Rasikh Salam for two sixes and one boundary to collect 16 runs. In the fifth over, he clubbed two fours and one six to get 15 more runs on the board.

Sunil Narine joined Rahane in the party and added 20 runs in the sixth and final over of the powerplay. From an advantage of 9/1 in the first three overs. RCB leaked 51/0 in the last three overs of the powerplay. They can’t afford this during the CSK vs RCB fixture.
