Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) is slightly ahead of the Delhi Capitals (DC) with a margin of 13-11 in the head-to-head. The first DC vs SRH meeting in the 2025 season will be on March 30, 2025, at the DR. Y. S. Rajasekhara ACA-VDCA Stadium in Visakhapatnam.
Even though the Lucknow Super Giants made a fantastic start with the bat in the first six overs of the innings, they were not up to the mark in the last five overs to end on a high.
Delhi Capitals were clinical in the last five overs to restrict the Sunrisers Hyderabad to just over 200 runs, which, at one point, looked to go beyond the 250-run mark
After 15 overs, Lucknow was on 170/4 when two new batters, Ayush Badoni and David Miller, were on the crease. Axar Patel gave away six singles in the 16th over of the innings before Kuldeep Yadav picked up two wickets in the over.
The onus was on Mohit Sharma to continue a good job, and he exactly did the same by leaking just 10 runs in the 18th over of the innings. Mitchell Starc gave away only six runs in the penultimate over, including the two wickets of Ravi Bishnoi and Shahbaz Ahmed.
It was Miller’s two sixes off Mohit on the last two balls that carried them over the 200-run mark. Delhi wants to repeat the same show in the DC vs SRH fixture.

Sunrisers Hyderabad, after the end of 15 overs, was bossing the game on 208/3 in the first inning, as Ishan Kishan was on 75 runs in 34 balls.
Heinrich Klassen nailed Sandeep Sharma for a six and four before Ishan Kishan thumped Jofra Archer for four boundaries in the last five balls of the 18th over to collect 23 runs.
Despite losing the South African wicket-keeper batter, Kishan went with the same momentum and added 17 runs in the penultimate over. Tushar Deshpande gave away 10 runs in the last over as they finished with 286/6, shouldering on the unbeaten 106 runs from 47 balls of Ishan Kishan.
Hyderabad added 78 runs in the last five overs, which they will again want to continue in the DC vs. SRH afternoon clash in Vishakhapatnam.
