Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) fell a step short of winning their second title in the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2024. For the second consecutive time, they lost the battle against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). But they will hope to start fresh in the SRH vs RR clash in the 2025 edition.
Sunrisers are slightly ahead of the Royals with a winning lead of 11-9 in the history of the league. In the last four clashes, they lost just once against the inaugural champions.

Rajasthan didn’t do well in the department, with just 740 runs in 15 innings at an average of 38.95. Their strike rate of 137.04 is the third lowest in the IPL 2024. They won’t have Jos Buttler's services for the new season for the SRH vs RR clash.
The biggest difference between the two franchises was the number of sixes. Hyderabad, thanks to Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head, clubbed 59 over boundaries in the first six overs of the innings, while Royals smacked just 19 sixes in this period. SRH lost 29 wickets in this time frame, but that didn’t contribute to them getting slow in the powerplay.
