Abhishek Sharma’s and Yuvraj Singh’s talents have been compared by former Pakistan pacer Tanvir Ahmed after Abhishek’s brutal ton in the 5th T20I between India and England in Mumbai on Sunday.
Abhishek put forth a tremendous effort with the bat, scoring his best innings in the T20I and helping the India National Cricket Team win the game. Opening the batting, the left-hander blasted the bowlers around the field.

Abhishek, who calls Yuvraj Singh his mentor, treated England's bowlers in the same way as the former India National Cricket Team star did. The left-hander scored a sensational half-century in just 17 balls.

Abhishek completed his century in the blink of an eye, causing everyone to stand and congratulate him for his bravery.
The India National Cricket Team hitter scored his second T20I century in just 37 balls, becoming the second-fastest century for his team in the game's shortest format behind Yuvraj Singh’s 12-ball effort against England in the 2007 T20 World Cup.
Rohit Sharma's record still untouched
In the elite ranking, he ranks behind Rohit Sharma. The India National Cricket Team's Test and ODI captain scored the fastest century in 35 balls. Abhishek produced a cruel innings of 135 runs off 54 balls, overtaking Shubham Gill as India's highest individual score in Twenty20 Internationals.

Abhishek batted at a strike rate of 250 and scored 7 fours and 13 sixes in his innings. Not only that, but Abhishek also contributed with the ball, taking two wickets and returning with figures of 2/3 to help the side win by 150 runs.

After seeing the Abhishek Sharma storm at Wankhede Stadium, ex-Pakistani pacer Tanvir Ahmed called the Punjab batter a bigger talent than his guru Yuvraj Singh.
