Jasprit Bumrah, the ace Indian pacer, has reached the NCA in Bengaluru ahead of the three-match ODI series against England and ICC Champions Trophy 2025. Bumrah, who suffered from back spasms during the Sydney Test, is racing against time to get fit.
Jasprit Bumrah allegedly arrived in Bengaluru on Sunday evening, February 2, for further medical evaluation by the BCCI's expert panel. According to the Times of India, India's pace sensation will be scanned and assessed at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru.

According to Latest Cricket News, Bumrah will spend at least two to three days at the National Cricket Academy (NCA), with the medical team set to submit a detailed report to the national selection committee chaired by Ajit Agarkar this week.
Bumrah was nominated to India's squad for the final ODI against England and the next ICC Champions Trophy 2025 last month, but his participation will be contingent on the findings of scans and medical evaluations at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) this week.
However, the Indian selectors will still have more than a week to choose Jasprit Bumrah, as they must confirm their 15-member squad for the Champions Trophy 2025 and submit it to the International Cricket Council (ICC) by February 13.
Possible replacements confirmed if Jasprit Bumrah fails to gain full fitness for CT 2025
If Bumrah fails to obtain medical clearance, Harshit Rana, who is already a member of the ODI team for the forthcoming home series against England, might be picked as the elite pacer's replacement. However, some rumors say that Mohammed Siraj's trip to Dubai is nearly certain if Bumrah is declared unfit.
The Men in Blue, captained by Rohit Sharma, have begun preparations for the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025 with a short camp in Nagpur before the three-match ODI series against England.
Bumrah likely to miss England ODIs
The first ODI will be held in Nagpur on February 6, followed by the second and final ODIs at Cuttack and Ahmedabad on February 9 and 12, respectively.
According to reports, India's 2025 Champions Trophy contingent is scheduled to fly to Dubai, UAE, on February 15. Notably, all of India's matches in the tournament will be staged in Dubai, and if they advance to the semi-finals and final, these crucial matchups will also take place in the Gulf city.
