KKR vs CSK Received Bomb Threat; CAB Confirms Getting Email To Destroy Eden Gardens

On Wednesday, May 7, during the Kolkata Knight Riders vs. Chennai Super Kings (KKR vs. CSK) game at Eden Gardens, the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) received a bomb threat.
Reports state that the threatening email was sent to CAB's official email account by an unknown sender. While the KKR vs. CSK game was playing at Eden Gardens, it got the mail. To maintain control of the situation, the authorities acted right away.
Eden Gardens security beefed up by CAB
Snehasish Ganguly, the president of the Cricket Association of Bengal, provided an update on the entire incident and said that the police had begun their investigation. Ganguly added that in order to prevent any unfavorable incidents during the game, stadium security was stepped up.
“The Cricket Association of Bengal received a bomb threat mail during the KKR vs CSK match at Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Wednesday, May 7. The mail was detected from an unknown ID in CAB's official email during the match."
"The police are investigating the matter while security at Eden Gardens has been beefed up: CAB (Cricket Association of Bengal) president Snehasish Ganguly,” ANI reported.

CSK defeats KKR to end their IPL 2025 playoffs hopes
The KKR vs. CSK game, meanwhile, ended without any problems. By defeating KKR by two wickets, CSK virtually eliminated KKR's hopes of making the playoffs.
In the allocated 20 overs, KKR scored 179/6 while batting first. Captain Ajinkya Rahane led his team from the front and was the top scorer, scoring 48 runs off 33 balls. Manish Pandey (36) and Andre Russell (38) both made helpful knocks. Noor Ahmad was CSK's top batsman, capturing four wickets for thirty-one runs.
CSK chase a 180-plus score for the 1st time in 6 years
After losing three wickets for just 37 runs in three overs, CSK got off to a bad start. Before long, they were reeling at 60/5. Dewald Brevis, however, put his team ahead with a lightning-fast fifty. With just 25 balls, the South African sensation scored 52 runs.
After losing two wickets in the 19th over, CSK's innings was in danger of collapsing once more. Nevertheless, captain MS Dhoni persevered to the very end, driving his team to victory with a six and four against Andre Russell in the last over.
