Shane Warne, perhaps the greatest leg-spinner the game of cricket ever saw, sadly passed away in March 2022 while vacationing in Thailand. He was due to complete his vacation and join the Rajasthan Royals franchise for the IPL that year as the team’s mentor.

At the age of 52, Shane Warne unexpectedly passed away from a heart attack while vacationing with friends in Thailand. According to an autopsy conducted by Surat Thani Hospital, there was no foul play, and he passed away naturally.

Three companions who were staying at the same property found Warne unresponsive on March 2 and made a failed attempt to resuscitate him, according to Chatchawin Nakmusik of the Bo Put police, who spoke to Reuters. Additionally, the officer stated that Warne was sent to the hospital via ambulance after being unable to be revived by medical staff.

The officer stated that there were no indications of foul play and that the death of the Australian cricketing icon was not being treated as suspicious. Warne's body had been moved to another hospital for an autopsy, and police will examine his colleagues on Saturday.

“Shane Warne was found unresponsive in his villa, and despite the best efforts of medical staff, he could not be revived. The family requests privacy at this time and will provide further details in due course,” the statement read.

He was buried in Australia with state honors, and a memorial was held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).

New discovery was made in Shane Warne’s death in Thailand

An item was stolen from Shane Warne's property in Thailand, where he was discovered dead, according to a Daily Mail article, which has turned the investigation into his death in an unexpected direction. According to the Daily Mail, a senior police officer on the scene was told to take out a container of tablets that were identified as Kamagra, a medication used to treat erectile dysfunction.

Sildenafil citrate, the same component as Viagra, is listed as an ingredient in the medication. According to the police officer, who spoke to the Daily Mail anonymously, high officials gave him the order to take the drugs out. He added that high-ranking Australian authorities might have participated in the cover-up as well.

The police officer said that the matter remains a sensitive subject at the moment.

“We were ordered by our seniors to get rid of the bottle. These orders were coming from up high, and I think senior officials from Australia were also involved because they did not want their national figure to have an ending like this.

So, the official report came out as that he suffered a heart attack, and no other details as to what could have caused it. No one will come out to confirm the Kamagra because it remains a sensitive subject. There were lots of powerful invisible hands behind all this. It was a bottle, but we don’t know how much he took. There was also a puddle of vomit and blood at the scene, but we cleared the Kamagra as we were told to,” the Daily Mail report read.
