Pat Cummins' Wife Reveals Leaving IPL 2025 Midway

Pat Cummins, the skipper of Sunrisers Hyderabad, traveled to India with his wife, Becky Cummins, for the current IPL 2025.

However, Sunrisers Hyderabad is in danger of being eliminated early. Under Pat Cummins' leadership, they have been unable to replicate the magic of the previous season.

SRH going through a Horrid run in IPL 2025

After losing to the Mumbai Indians by four wickets in their most recent match on April 17 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, Sunrisers Hyderabad suffered their fifth loss in the current IPL 2025.

Despite Cummins' outstanding play with the ball, the MI was too strong to prevent. With Heinrich Klaasen scoring 37 and Abhishek Sharma scoring 40 against the MI, SRH was able to score 162/5.

In his three overs against the SRH at Wankhede Stadium, Will Jacks finished with 2/14. Later, Mumbai achieved their third victory of the current season by chasing down the mark in 18.1 overs.

Pat Cummins’ wife, Becky, leaves India midway IPL

Becky, Cummins' wife, has declared that she is leaving India in the middle of the ongoing IPL 2025 season due to SRH's poor campaign. As she bid India farewell, she shared a picture of herself and Cummins at the airport on her Instagram story.

Sharing a picture with the SRH captain in casual wear, Becky wrote in the caption, “Goodbye, India; we have loved visiting this beautiful country.”

Many people question whether the Australian skipper is also abandoning the SRH in the middle of the competition, even though the post suggests that she is finishing her IPL trip early. It's unclear, though, whether Cummins will accompany her or remain in India to captain the SRH in the current IPL 2025.

SRH’s poor IPL 2025, a huge fall from an exceptional IPL 2024 campaign

With just two victories from seven games, Sunrisers Hyderabad is now in ninth place in the IPL 2025 points standings. At -1.217, their net run rate is likewise a major cause for concern. Though the road ahead won't be simple for Cummins' club, SRH's aspirations of making the IPL 2025 playoffs remain intact.

SRH must win at least five of their final seven games in order to stay in the running. They would virtually guarantee a postseason berth if they were able to secure six wins. They might even place in the top two if they win all seven. However, SRH's season will end if they lose more than three games after this.
