The beginning of the situation was after the fixture between the Peshawar Zalmi and Karachi Kings on May 08 was postponed due to the ongoing border escalation. They relocated with the stakeholders on the deliberations between the board and the stakeholders.

“Like in the past, we hope that our stakeholders will rally with us to further the best interests of the tournament, our players, and the fans. We will commit to ensuring that the league continues to thrive.” The Pakistan Cricket Board’s chairman, Mohsin Naqvi, expressed the decision.

They also arranged a special train for the travel of players as flights were closed in that state. The BCCI is confident of restarting the league in a week and ending it quickly with the inclusion of more doubleheaders.

They have also addressed three cities- Chenani, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad- for the completion of the remainder of the league.

But if things don’t change and the league doesn’t start in May, then the BCCI has the window of August and September. For Pakistan, it will be tough to finish the PSL 2025 and find a perfect window for the competition. Its future is uncertain.
