PSL 2025 Set For Direct Clash With IPL 2025 As Schedule Announced, Start Date Confirmed

The PSL 2025 (Pakistan Super League) schedule was unveiled by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Friday, February 28, 2025. Islamabad United, the reigning champions, and Lahore Qalandars will play their first game of the season at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Friday, April 11.
PSL 2025 will consist of 34 games from April 11 to May 18. Thirteen games, including the final and the two elimination rounds, will be held in Lahore. Qualifier 1 of PSL 2025 is one of 11 games that Rawalpindi will host. Notably, PSL 2025 will feature five matches in each of Karachi and Multan.
According to the PCB's schedule, three PSL doubleheaders will occur, with two games on Saturdays and one on Labour Day. The PSL 2025 final is scheduled for May 18.
With two titles each, the most successful PSL teams are Quetta Gladiators, Lahore Qalandars, and Islamabad United.
PSL Exhibition Match on April 8 in Peshawar
The PCB will reveal the teams later. On April 8, an exhibition match will take place in Peshawar. On April 12, Karachi Kings will play the Multan Sultans at home to begin their PSL 2025 campaign. On April 22, Multan Sultans vs. Lahore Qalandars will play their maiden game of PSL 2025 at Multan Cricket Stadium.
On April 24, the first game at the recently refurbished Gaddafi Stadium will take place. Quetta Gladiators will play five PSL games at Gaddafi Stadium, while Peshawar Zalmi will play five PSL games in Rawalpindi.

The fans in this year’s tournament will not only see high-profile international cricketers but will also witness 34 high-octane matches across four major cities—Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi,” HBL PSL Chief Executive Officer Salman Naseer said.
