Mohsin Naqvi, the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), revealed the updated schedule for the remaining PSL 2025 games. PSL X's final round will happen from May 17 to May 25.

Due to security concerns, the Pakistan Super League 10 was halted earlier. Following the BCCI's announcement of the updated IPL 2025 calendar, PCB also released the updated PSL 2025 schedule.

Pakistan Super League was suspended

When the drones were discovered close to the Rawalpindi stadium on May 8, the Pakistan Super League was postponed.

It was the 27th league game between Peshawar Zalmi and Karachi Kings. The Rawalpindi Stadium also suffered some damage externally when an Indian drone made a hit on the structure.

PSL 10’s relocation to UAE fails as Emirates Board refuses PCB’s request

Then the PCB chief announced that the remainder of the Pakistan Super League X matches will be played in the UAE, without gaining permission from the Emirates Cricket Board first, assuming that there will be no problem.

A report claims that after pressure from prominent Indian cricket figures, such as Jay Shah, the current head of the International Cricket Council (ICC) and former president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the ECB denied PCB's request to move PSL matches.

"We owe it to the BCCI and Jay Bhai," an ECB official told Cricbuzz, acknowledging the Indian role in the matter.

This led to the PCB postponing the rest of the PSL X matches indefinitely. The tournament was suspended due to the sensitive situation across the nation. Some foreign players moved to their nations, and some are enjoying their vacation in the UAE.

“6 teams, 0 fear”- Mohsin Naqvi says while announcing the resumption of PSL X.

Mohsin Naqvi is eager to finish the remaining Pakistan Super League 10 games. He gave players and supporters confidence boosts for the league's resumption on social media by using strong phrases like "fear," "aura," and "unite."

“HBL PSL X picks up from where it left off! 6 teams, 0 fear, Let the aura take over as we unite and celebrate the spirit of cricket. “Get ready for 8 thrilling matches starting 17th May, leading up to the Grand Final on 25th May. Best of luck to all the teams,” Mohsin Naqvi stated.

With 13 points from 9 games, the Quetta Gladiators are presently leading the Pakistan Super League 2025 standings. Islamabad United and Karachi Kings are ranked third and second, respectively. Both teams have ten points, but Karachi has a higher net run-rate than Islamabad and played one fewer game.
