Sandeep has taken 10 wickets in 10 games during the current IPL 2025, at an economy rate of 8.03. He picked numbers of 2/21 in the match against the Gujarat Titans, which was his best performance. He has participated in 137 IPL games, taking 146 wickets at an average of 27.88 and recording his best bowling numbers of 5/18.

The Rajasthan Royals uploaded a video of the pacer with a fractured finger, confirming that Sandeep would not be available for the remainder of the season. The team hoped for his quick recovery after mentioning that he bowled in agony during the previous game.

Unfortunately, RR’s hopes of qualification in the IPL 2025 playoffs ended after they lost to MI in Jaipur on May 1. MI defeated RR by 100 runs, and with only 6 points from 11 games and 8 losses, the 2008 IPL champions are out of the playoff race.
