Travis Head and co. post the 5th highest powerplay total in IPL history
Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma teed off from the first over itself. Abhishek Sharma hit Fazalhaq Farooqi for two fours in the over taking 10 runs. Maheesh Theek then started off with a wide and a no-ball, and went for 14 runs as a six and a four was hit by Travis Head.
Farooqi’s second over went for 21 runs as Abhishek Sharma hit 3 fours and Head ended the over with a six. Theekshana dismissed Abhishek on the first ball of the 4th over, but then Ishan Kishan joined the party, hitting him for two fours.
SRH's Head Becoming Headache for RR
Travis Head welcomed Jofra Archer with a 23-run over as he hit him for 4 fours and one six in six balls. Theekshana then conceded 3 fours and 16 runs in the 6th over to end the powerplay. Sunrisers Hyderabad’s score read 94 runs for one wicket at the end of 6 overs.
Travis Head completed his 50 in 21 balls with 6 fours and 3 sixes, while Ishan Kishan was batting on 31 in 15 balls with 6 fours to his name.
