Despite not playing a game this season, Swastik Chikara's antics have made him a sensation on social media. The 20-year-old's performances in the current IPL 2025 have made him a fan favorite.
When he used Virat Kohli's cologne last month without the batting sensation's consent, he became the talk of the town.
Swastik has been waiting to get a game for RCB
Swastik Chikara opened the bag and removed the perfume bottle without asking Kohli's permission, even though he was seated inside the dressing room.
Several RCB players, including captain Rajat Patidar, acknowledged that Swastik Chikara's audacious move astounded them.
Swastik Chikara said in an RCB video: "He's our elder brother, isn't he? So, I was checking to ensure he doesn't used a bad one and so, I tried it. He asked me how it was. I said it's nice. I was only checking to let you know."

Swastik Chikara likes a fan post saying ‘fraud’ Devdutt Padikkal should make way for him
Swastik Chikara has been entertaining the audience, but his recent actions on social media have put him in hot water. An Instagram post that called his teammate Devdutt Padikkal a fake was liked by the RCB batsman.
The choice by RCB to exclude Swastik from the starting lineup this season was questioned in the post. This post voiced dissatisfaction at the team management's preference for Padikkal over Swastik. The screenshot of the message has been making the rounds on social media, and Swastik liked it.
The batter has been criticized by some fans for his obvious disdain and lack of sportsmanship toward a teammate.
