Since the inauguration of the T20I format, it was always expected to be exciting and full of theater. Over the years, the batters have evolved their skills to score runs even from the beginning of the inning.

Inside the first six overs, the batters will always get the chance to throw their bat for the big shots around the park, with just two fielders allowed outside the 30-yard circle.

Here are the top 10 batsmen with the most runs in T20Is.

1. Rohit Sharma (India)

The T20 World Cup-winning captain, Rohit Sharma, is the leading run-getter of the format with 4231 runs. In 151 innings, the right-handed batter carried an average of 32.05 and a strike rate of just over 140, with the help of 32 centuries and five centuries, and the best score of an unbeaten 121 runs.

After a struggling 2022 T20 World Cup campaign, he changed his mindset and became more aggressive to aim for the big shots from the beginning.
