1. Sir Donald Bradman (Australia)

2. Kumar Sangakkara (Sri Lanka)
The left-handed Sri Lanka middle-order batter is second on the list with 11 double centuries. He clubbed 12400 runs in 233 innings at an average of 57.40, besides enjoying 38 centuries at the best score of 319 runs against Bangladesh.

3. Brian Lara (West Indies)

5. Virat Kohli (India)
It took the former Indian Test batter, Virat Kohli, nearly five years to celebrate his first double century against the West Indies in Antigua, before he added six more in the list. He finished with 9230 runs in 210 innings at an average of 46.85, thanks to 30 centuries and 31 fifties.

6. Mahela Jayawardene (Sri Lanka)

7. Marvan Atapattu (Sri Lanka)
