Virat Kohli Reveals His Intentions With KL Rahul After Kantara Celebration

Virat Kohli and KL Rahul got into a funny banter after the Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s (RCB) match against Delhi Capitals (DC) in IPL 2025. The game between the two teams took place at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Sunday (27th April).

In the current IPL 2025, Virat Kohli helped Royal Challengers Bengaluru secure their sixth straight away victory with another outstanding bat while chasing. They moved to the top of the standings after defeating the Delhi Capitals by six wickets.

Under pressure, Virat Kohli produced a crucial effort on a slow pitch to bat on. Royal Challengers Bengaluru faced tremendous strain as they lost three wickets during the powerplay while chasing the 163-run target.

Following the game, Kohli went to make fun of KL Rahul. In a rematch between the two teams at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, he imitated the Delhi Capitals batter's "This is my ground"/Kantara celebration after his team won.

A dialogue between the two at that time was made public a day later. The Delhi Capitals hitter, who was alongside Karun Nair, yelled, "Achha hua out ho gaya (It's good you got out)," as Kohli approached KL Rahul and that celebration.

"You know what I thought, I'll finish the match, do this, and then I'll come to you and hug you," replies Kohli.

KL Rahul, on the other hand, didn't have a great outing as he scored just 41 runs off 39 balls. He batted with a strike rate of over 105 and managed just three boundaries in his innings.
