It appeared like the conflict between Indian Idol singer Rahul Vaidya and Virat Kohli is over. After he caused a great deal of uproar by stating unfavorable things about the batter, the India National Cricket Team batter unblocked the latter.

Kohli came into the limelight for his social media after his official Instagram account liked a post from a well-known female actress and influencer, Avneet Kaur. The Royal Challengers Bengaluru batsman quickly apologized, claiming that the system had made a mistake while clearing his stream.

Then, in a jab at the batter, Rahul Vaidya stirred the pot and said something about it. The singer took another jab at the batter, claiming that Virat Kohli's algorithm must have instructed him to block him. This didn't sit well with the Indian hitter, who blocked him right away.

Rahul Vaidya didn't stop there; he went on to denounce Virat Kohli supporters as idiots. After he continued to make fun of the India National Cricket Team player on social media, Vikas, Kohli's brother, finally responded with a mouth-shutting retort.

Rahul Vaidya took to his Instagram account a few weeks later to confirm that the RCB hitter has unblocked him, thereby ending the feud. He also praised the Indian player, describing him as the pride of the country and one of the best batsmen.

“Thank you @virat.kohli for unblocking me (red heart emoticon)... You are one of the best batsmen cricket has ever seen, and Aap India ka garv ho (You are the pride of India)! Jai Hind (tricolour emoticon) God bless you and your family (hug and red heart emoticon),” Vaidya posted.

In a separate tweet, Rahul Vaidya slammed those who were harassing his wife, sister, and children, claiming that they deserved to be treated well.

“Also, the immature people who abused my wife and sister morphed my little girl's pics and sent so many abuses to me and my loved ones, and are continuing to do so. Bhagwan aap sab ko sadbuddi de (May god grant you some goodwill). I can write the same and even worse things to you, but I won't because it will only increase negativity, which takes us nowhere!” he stated.

He also responded to Vikas Kohli's remark about him, stating that he knows Virat's brother is decent at heart.

“Also, Vikas Kohli bhai apne mujhe jo bhi kaha I didn't feel bad because I know you are a very good human being, and I remember you meeting me outside Manchester or Oval stadium and all the nice things you said to me about my singing. Love and peace to all,” posted Vaidya.
