Hardik Pandya and his franchise, Mumbai Indians (MI), owner Akash Ambani, almost fought Pandya nearly hit the son of the richest person in India with the IPL robot dog. The incident happened after Hardik Pandya’s MI defeated Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Wankhede Stadium on Sunday.

MI defeated the Kolkata Knight Riders by eight wickets in their third game of the current competition after dropping their opening two games against the Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans.

However, the five-time winners were dealt a double blow once more, losing to the Royal Challengers Bengaluru and the Lucknow Super Giants before their comeback in the current IPL 2025.

MI crush CSK by 9 wickets, storm back into playoffs contention

Mumbai defeated the Delhi Capitals by 12 runs to start their winning run, and they then defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 4 wickets. In their most recent IPL 2025 match, MI improved their chances of making the playoffs by thrashing CSK by nine wickets. The former captain Rohit Sharma was the hero of Mumbai's decisive victory.

The Mumbai Indians camp was in a celebratory mood after winning the current IPL 2025 hat-trick, and captain Hardik Pandya was clearly ecstatic following his subpar debut as team captain.

Following Sunday night's MI vs. CSK game at Wankhede Stadium, Hardik Pandya was spotted having a good time with club owner Akash Ambani. After the lopsided match, the MI captain was spotted in Mumbai acting like Ambani's robot.

The team owner was seen giving Hardik Pandya instructions on how to operate the robot in the widely shared video. Hardik accidentally entered the command to assault Akash because the robot is controlled by a remote. Akash Ambani became frightened as the robot leaped toward him and abruptly leaped away.

Hardik Pandya lost control of his laughter after witnessing the amusing incident and teased the owner of the Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium. Social media is currently flooded with images and videos of Hardik and Akash's hilarious encounter.

After 20 overs, the Chennai Super Kings scored 176/5 with to outstanding fifties from Shivam Dube and Ravindra Jadeja. At Wankhede Stadium, MI's best batsman, Jasprit Bumrah, took two wickets for 25 runs in four overs against CSK.

As MI chased down the goal of 177 runs in only 15.4 overs to record a 9-wicket victory at the Wankhede Stadium, Rohit Sharma (76* runs off 45 balls) and Suryakumar Yadav (68* runs off 30 balls) tore through a helpless Chennai Super Kings bowling team.
