Hasan Ali has been in incredible touch with the ball in the 10th season of the Pakistan Premier League (PSL). He imitated the famous celebration of Abrar Ahmed after picking up a wicket. The incident happened at the National Stadium in Karachi.

Abrar is known for looking at the batter and making a unique celebration by moving his head twice after dismissing a batter. He did that exactly against Shubman Gill at the Dubai International Stadium during the recent Champions Trophy 2025.

Karachi Kings, batting first, posted 175 runs on the board in their allotted 20 overs against the Quetta Gladiators, who never were in the chase, losing wickets regularly.

On the fourth ball of the 19th over, Hasan Ali came for his fourth and final over of the inning. He went for a slower and full delivery at the stumps as Abrar gave so much room and got nowhere near the line of the boundary. Once he missed the ball, there was no way he could have played the ball.

The pacer, just after earning the wicket, imitated the same celebration and was quick to rush to the batter to share a light moment. Abrar, while going back to the dressing room, smiled at the entire incident.

Hasan Ali has a history of injuring himself with different celebrations. It’s still very famous among the fans how he tore a bone in his neck while enjoying the wicket of Tom Murray in Zimbabwe in the past.

Hasan Ali surpasses Wahab Riaz to become the leading wicket-taker in PSL history

Hasan Ali has been in excellent form this year with eight wickets in just 12 overs across three innings at an average of just below 13.

In the previous game against the Lahore Qalandars, they lost by 65 runs. The pacer picked up four wickets for just 28 runs in four overs. It was a phenomenal performance from the bowler in a game where the opponents made over 200 runs in the first innings.

On his very first ball of the last game against the Quetta side, he sent back Hasan Nawaz for one run in two balls. The batter poked at the out-swinging delivery with hard hands and got a thick outside edge to the left of the slip fielder. Khusdil Shah, showing excellent reflexes, timed his dive to perfection to grab the fine low catch.

In his very second over, Hasan Ali dismissed Khawaja Nafay for one run. The batter looked to play the ramp shot but couldn’t handle the pace and extra bounce off the surface to find the third-man fielder.

Karachi Kings earn a huge 56-run victory over Quetta Gladiators

Winning the toss, the home side opted to bat first as they put up a strong opening stand of 60 runs inside the powerplay. James Vince nailed 70 runs in 47 balls in an extension of his purple knock as they finished on 175/7 in their allotted 20 overs.

Quetta kept on losing regular wickets and was never in the chase. It was Mohammad Amir’s 30-run knock in 16 balls that carried them over the 100-run mark before falling short by 56 runs.
