It helped them chase a huge and stiff total against the Sultans in the second innings.

Hasan Ali returns with figures of 4/28
Hasan Ali drew first blood for the Kings in his very first over. Opening batter, Mohammed Naeem, looked to swing away the wide-length ball outside the off stump. He dragged the ball into the leg side with a flat bat and could only manage to spoon it up towards the mid-on region, where Abbas Afridi grabbed a simple catch to send the batter back.
In his second over, the 30-year-old dismissed Abdullah Shafique. The national batter looked to tuck into the leg side against a short ball on the off-stump, which nipped away ever so slightly as the batter looked to close the face of the bat a bit early. It took the leading edge and flew towards the cover region, where Arafat Minhas took the catch.
Hasan Ali brought the trademark celebration. He returned in the 16th over of the innings to break the 125-run third-wicket stand between Fakhar Zaman and Daryl Mitchell. The former looked to clear his front foot and smash the low full toss over long-on.
But he couldn’t get full elevation in the shot as Adam Milne took a fine tumbling catch. On the last ball of his spell, Hasan Ali picked up his fourth wicket of the evening in the form of Sam Billings for 19 runs in 10 balls. The wicket-keeper batter couldn’t time the sweep and found the deep mid-wicket fielder.

Karachi Kings’ struggling batting faced its first defeat by 65 runs in PSL10
Deciding to bat first on a flat surface, Lahore put up 201/6 in their allotted 20 overs, thanks to two half-centuries from Zaman and Mitchell. Apart from Hasan Ali, no bowler could make a significant contribution to the event.
In reply, Karachi kept on losing wickets at regular intervals and were bundled out for 136 runs in 19.1 overs to fall short of the score by 65 runs.
