While getting on the team bus, Phil Salt and Lungi Ngidi, teammates of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru, got into a humorous altercation.

Lungi Ngidi was conducting an interview next to the team bus as the other RCB players were busy getting on the bus. Phil Salt chose to have some fun while the South African pacer was occupied, conversing with the interviewer. The England batsman surprised his RCB teammate by pushing Lungi Ngidi from behind.

Lungi Ngidi maintained his composure and quickly turned back to warn Phil Salt, saying, 'Swear to god'.

However, Salt ignored the warning and continued to push Ngidi as he made his way to the bus gate. Everyone was in stitches after Ngidi delightfully kicked Salt in response to his act.

In the current IPL 2025 season, both players are having wildly different campaigns. Ngidi hasn't played a game this season, but Salt has established himself as a vital member of the RCB playing eleven.

The right-arm pacer is yet to be given a shot in the starting lineup because RCB prefers players like Josh Hazlewood, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and Yash Dayal.

Given how well RCB has performed thus far, it seems improbable that they will alter the winning lineup, particularly in the second half of the season.

Salt has been one of the RCB's top batsmen thus far and has been in the starting eleven since game one, unlike Ngidi.

He has amassed 213 runs in 8 games, including two fifties. He has established a strong opening partnership with Virat Kohli and has amassed his runs at a strike-rate of nearly 180.

It appears that RCB will make the playoffs this year. With five victories from eight games, they are presently ranked third in the standings.

To increase their chances of making the playoffs, they crushed Punjab Kings by seven wickets in their most recent match. When RCB plays the Rajasthan Royals on April 24, that will be their next game.
