Watch- MS Dhoni Gets Brutally Trolled By Aakash Chopra And Virender Sehwag

Former Indian cricketers Virender Sehwag and Aakash Chopra combined to make fun of MS Dhoni after the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) lost to the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the ongoing IPL 2025 season.

The Chennai Super Kings were in serious trouble after suffering yet another humiliating loss in the ongoing IPL 2025 on Friday, April 11.

In the 25th game of the season, the CSK players humiliated themselves and made fun of the team and supporters by giving in to the bowling attack of the Kolkata Knight Riders at Chennai's MA Chidambaram Stadium.

The only reason CSK was able to reach the three-figure mark was due to some resistance from Shivam Dube (31*) and Vijay Shankar (29). The rest of the team was a complete failure, and Rahul Tripathi's batting was the most peculiar; he faced 22 balls before being clean bowled by Sunil Narine.

CSK struggled at home against KKR spinners; Sunil Narine stars

CSK had trouble right away, managing to score only 31 runs in the powerplay. The game was utterly controlled by KKR's spinners, Varun Chakaravarthy (2 for 18) and Sunil Narine (3 for 13).

In addition, pacer Harshit Rana contributed two vital wickets, further compounding CSK's problems. The Chepauk audience fell silent as MS Dhoni, who had entered the game at number nine, was dismissed LBW to Sunil Narine in the sixteenth over after managing just one run off of four balls.

In just 10.1 overs, KKR chased the 104-run mark. With five sixes, Sunil Narine blasted a scorching 44 runs in 18 balls. Rinku Singh finished the match with a spectacular six off Ravindra Jadeja.

Virender Sehwag and Aakash Chopra team up to troll MS Dhoni

After Dhoni lost badly to the mystery spinner once more in the IPL, Virender Sehwag cruelly mocked him for his continuous battle with Narine.

Sehwag brought up the fact that Narine has been routinely discarding some of the most well-known players in the game, despite their reputations, because they haven't been able to contribute with the bat this season. In addition to praising Narine, it was a shrewd barb at the spinner and the CSK players.

“Sunil Narine has dismissed only the strongest batters. Tripathi, MS Dhoni, and Ravindra Jadeja. He has dismissed all three of them. I don't think MS even hit a six against Narine. Akash, you know the stats better than me,” Sehwag trolled MS Dhoni.

By subtly pointing out how long it has been since Dhoni even managed a boundary against Narine in the commentary box, Aakash Chopra added gasoline to the fire.

“I think he (MSD) didn't even hit a four against Narine for a long time,” Chopra replied.

CSK presently has just two points from six games after dropping their last five games. They are now slightly ahead of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in ninth place on the IPL 2025 points table.
