Mohammad Rizwan, the ODI captain of Pakistan, has been charged multiple times with attempting to use his acting abilities to inflate his injuries during a match. His teammate Naseem Shah recently affirmed his authority on this assertion.
Without hesitation, Naseem stated unequivocally that Mohammad Rizwan is the team's best actor. The quick bowler even referred to his skipper as "natural" when questioned about his acting abilities.
Because of his antics on the field, Rizwan has been linked to acting. On multiple instances, the physiotherapist has observed him experiencing cramps. After hitting a six against Sri Lanka during the 2023 ODI World Cup, Rizwan collapsed to the ground.
After witnessing Rizwan's amusing actions, commentator Simon Doull was unable to contain his laughter and even suggested that the batter "get into the movies." Doull even questioned Rizwan about whether he was acting or if the cramps were real.
The Pakistan wicketkeeper gave a cheeky remark with a smile on his face, “Sometimes it's cramps, sometimes it's acting.” His comments went viral, and he was seen doing the same thing in future games as well.
Mohammad Rizwan is a "natural" actor- Naseem Shah
Former Pakistani quick Wahab Riaz hosted a show with Mohammad Rizwan, Naseem Shah, and Fakhar Zaman. Wahab Riaz, the host of the event that went viral on social media, asked the three actors who they thought were the best actors.
Without hesitation, Fakhar and Naseem gestured to Rizwan with their fingers. Rizwan is a born actor, according to Naseem Shah, whereas the other actors try their hardest to act.
"Hum acting karte hain, Rizi bhai natural hain (We act but Rizwan bhai is natural)," said Naseem.

Mohammad Rizwan’s Pakistan career
Mohammad Rizwan, along with Babar Azam, is considered to be the backbone of Pakistan's cricket batting lineup. He is also the ODI captain of the national team currently.
He has more than 8000 runs in all three formats while playing for Pakistan in 39 Tests, 89 ODIs, and 106 T20Is. Throughout his international career, the wicketkeeper-batter has amassed eight hundreds and averages over 40 in all forms.
But given Pakistan's recent results, he is feeling some pressure. Rizwan only managed 49 runs at an average of 24.50 in the Champions Trophy 2025, which saw Pakistan lose badly in the tournament's group round.
In addition, Rizwan was left off of Pakistan's Twenty20 International squad for the New Zealand tour. It is thought that the selectors intend to build a young team capable of playing aggressive cricket for the T20 World Cup the following year.
