Additionally, Ramandeep Singh disclosed that Shreyas Iyer, the former captain of the Kolkata Knight Riders, is a frequent winner on gaming applications.
The batter for the Kolkata Knight Riders has revealed shocking information on the IPL players' gaming culture amid the IPL 2025 action. The 27-year-old freely acknowledged in a recent podcast that players frequently wager enormous sums of money when playing poker and FIFA, with pots reaching INR 10 lakh at the KKR gaming room during the IPL.

According to Ramandeep Singh, a few elite players spend a significant portion of their leisure time wagering on virtual games. Some of the best FIFA players in the KKR camp are Shreyas Iyer, Nitish Rana, Vaibhav Arora, and Vivek Singh, he said.
"No one can beat Vivek Singh in FIFA," Ramandeep Singh even acknowledged.
It's interesting to note that IPL players wager thousands of rupees on each match, so they don't play for pleasure. According to the right-handed batter, wagers range from INR 20,000 to INR 25,000 and reach INR 1 lakh every game.
“Yes, we bet a lot on each other. People lose a lot and win a lot. Shreyas plays FIFA very well. Vivek plays very well. No one can beat him. It's stupid to bet on him. I used to play with Vaibhav and Shreyas. Nitish also plays very well. I used to play with him as well,” Ramandeep said on the Raj Shamani podcast.

FIFA betting is crazy, but when people start playing poker, it gets much more bizarre. According to Ramandeep, the stakes in a game of poker can go as high as INR 1 lakh to INR 10 lakh!
He casually stated, “On FIFA, it's okay. On poker, the system goes up to INR 10 lakh!”
