Ravi Bishnoi was over the moon after he hit ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah for a huge six in the recent IPL 2025 match between the Mumbai Indians (MI) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on Sunday, April 27, that was played at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Ravi Bishnoi was absolutely delighted after hitting the world's best bowler a maximum, and he pulled off a wild celebration while looking at Jasprit Bumrah. Even LSG captain Rishabh Pant was smiling as was the entire LSG dugout, despite the team getting walloped by MI in the match.

At the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, in the 45th game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, the Lucknow Super Giants were given a target of 216 runs to chase.

They lost Aiden Markram in the third over, which was a bad start for them. They continued to lose wickets at regular intervals after that, and they lost by 54 runs in spite of strong performances by David Miller, Ayush Badoni, and Nicholas Pooran.

But with his batting, Ravi Bishnoi made sure to add some entertainment value throughout the innings. After David Miller was dismissed in the sixteenth over, he went in to bat.

He scored 13 runs off 14 balls, including two sixes, as he attempted to stay in the middle. Bishnoi smashed his first six against Corbin Bosch and his second against the great Jasprit Bumrah of today.

Jasprit Bumrah bowled a length ball to Ravi Bishnoi on the final ball of the eighteenth over, and Bishnoi hit it into the bleachers over long-on for a six.

He was spotted celebrating violently after hitting the six while staring at Jasprit Bumrah. Sitting on the bench, stunned, were coach Zaheer Khan and captain Rishabh Pant of the Lucknow Super Giants.

Earlier, Mumbai Indians had been asked to bat first by LSG captain Rishabh Pant, who had won the toss. Ryan Rickelton made 58 runs, while Will Jacks made 29 at the top of the order. Suryakumar Yadav made 54 runs in the middle overs, while Naman Dhir (25*) and Corbin Bosch (20) led the MI team to 215/7 in 20 overs.

Mayank Yadav and Avesh Khan picked up two wickets each.
