“You don’t have to look them in the eyes. What’s the need to make them angry? And it’s still the same. I am telling you, with these guys, if the ball is swinging so much, you have to be very careful because people think it’s only your toes and head, but you have to watch your nuts also.” Ravi Shastri expressed in an interaction.

India’s successful Champions Trophy 2025 campaign
The Indian cricket team, under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, didn’t enjoy a great time in Australia during the five-match Test series of the Border Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) 2024-25 with a margin of 3-1.
Rohit Sharma’s army had a great time at home with a 3-0 clean sweep against England. They carried the same momentum in the Champions Trophy and started with a fine victory against Bangladesh at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, thanks to the century from Shubman Gill.

In the second encounter, Virat Kohli smashed a cracking unbeaten century for India against Pakistan at the same venue to nearly make their qualification for the semifinal in the 242-run chase. Varun Chakravarthy’s five-wicket haul was enough to bail them out of trouble against New Zealand. They will face the same opponent in the final after the collective performance earned a victory against Australia in the semifinal.

Pakistan’s struggling Champions Trophy 2025 campaign
Pakistan struggled in the home tri-series as they lost the final against the Kiwis before facing another defeat against the same side in the opening clash of the event at the National Stadium in Karachi. Their only hope to survive in the competition was to win against the blue brigade, but that didn’t happen either, as their batting flopped badly.
Mohammad Rizwan’s army didn’t get the chance to open their account as their final group-stage clash against Bangladesh in Rawalpindi ended in a washout affair.
