RCB mascot Mr. Nags was at his brutal best as he roasts rivals MI during a chat with his franchise captain Rajat Patidar in a funny video. With RCB playing KKR in the opening match, the IPL 2025 is almost here, and the teams are nearing the end of their preparations.
The teams are doing everything they can to make fun of their rivals on social media in addition to on the field.
In a similar move, Royal Challengers Bengaluru made fun of their bitter rivals, the Mumbai Indians, on social media with a video. The video showed Mr. Nags, who hosts the majority of RCB events, questioning incoming captain Rajat Patidar about the consent of former captains Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli.

Mr. Nags questioned Patidar on whether the other teams ought to have announced their captains using the same method. Patidar, however, denied adopting it and asserted that he doesn't adhere to such things.
In the end, Mr. Nags claimed Patidar to be saying "Mai nahi samjha (I didn't understand)." He emphasized the word "MAI" and took a brutal dig at Mumbai Indians, who are also shortly pronounced as "MI".

The Mumbai Indians, who underwent a controversial leadership change only a year ago, were the target of the jab. The decision to replace legendary MI captain Rohit Sharma with all-rounder Hardik Pandya didn't sit well with the supporters.
Throughout the tournament, Hardik was jeered by the home crowd and in every venue he visited. The team maintained that it was a time of transition, despite the supporters' desire for Rohit to return as captain.
The Mumbai Indians won a record five IPL titles under Rohit Sharma's leadership. Because he led Mumbai to great success, he is regarded as one of the greatest captains to have ever played in the league.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru to play IPL 2025 tournament opener against KKR
At Eden Gardens, Royal Challengers Bengaluru will play the reigning champion Kolkata Knight Riders in the opening match of their IPL 2025 season. Last season, RCB was eliminated after losing to the Rajasthan Royals in the Eliminator, finishing in fourth place.
Rajat Patidar, who was chosen as captain before players like Virat Kohli, will command the Royal Challengers in the 2025 Indian Premier League. Despite leading the club for the previous three seasons, Faf du Plessis was not signed by the squad at this year's auction.
