After a few days of family holiday in the Maldives, India skipper Rohit Sharma has just returned home. The images, which showed Rohit enjoying time with his wife and kids while on vacation, went popular on social media.

In the 2025 Indian Premier League, Rohit Sharma will play for the Mumbai Indians and be an important member of the club. He is still determined to play in the IPL for the next few years even if he has officially retired from the T20I format.

Before the IPL 2025 auction, Mumbai paid INR 16.35 crore to keep Rohit. During his time as captain, he guided MI to a record five IPL titles, making him a famous player for the team.

In the past several IPL seasons, the 37-year-old hasn't played at his best. Although his performance has been concerning, he has the potential to be a threat in the forthcoming season. At the top, he is probably going to support his aggressive strokeplay, which has also been his style of play in international cricket.

He has scored 6628 runs in 257 games at an average of 29.72 and a strike rate of 131.14, making him the third-highest run scorer in IPL history. He is probably going to overtake Shikhar Dhawan as this season's second-highest run scorer.
