Pakistan T20I vice-captain Shadab Khan was seen playfully mocking the kids at the boundary during the second T20I of the ongoing five-match series between Pakistan and New Zealand at the University Oval in Dunedin.
The match saw New Zealand captain Michael Bracewell winning the toss and decided to bowl first. Pakistan suffered an early setback after being summoned into bat. Hasan Nawaz, their opener, has been out for a duck for the second time in the series.
They were struggling at 19-2 in the fourth over before captain Salman Agha reached the crease. With four fours and three sixes in 46 off 28, Salman helped the squad come back.
Shadab Khan struck a forceful knock of 26 from 14 balls in the middle order, while Shaheen Shah Afridi remained undefeated with 22 off 14, as Pakistan scored 135/9 in 15 overs in the rain-reduced match.

In the rain-shortened game, Tim Seifert and Finn Allen gave New Zealand a strong start in the chase. Despite playing his first over of the Kiwi innings, Seifert (45 in 22 balls) and Allen (38 in 16 balls) combined for 66 runs in 4.4 overs.
Pakistan swiftly claimed wickets in the middle overs, reducing New Zealand to 97/4. However, despite the late wickets, Pakistan was stopped from winning the match. Bracewell's home team won by five wickets with nearly ten balls left.

Salman Ali Agha, the captain of Pakistan, stated that the conditions were difficult after the game. He thought the team played better than they had in the last game, especially in hitting and fielding.
"It was freezing. It was a good game compared to the last game. We batted batter. Fielding was outstanding. Bowling in patches was good. The bounce we need to understand is different. After the powerplay, we bowled well. Haris bowled well. We need to be better in the powerplay. As a batting unit, we need to have better powerplay. And same as a bowling unit as well," Salman said.
