During Sunday's IPL 2025 match between Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Virat Kohli was at his most animated. With his characteristic flamboyant celebrations, he didn't miss a chance to irritate the PBKS players.
There was an awkward moment at the end of the match when PBKS skipper Shreyas Iyer was clearly irritated by Virat Kohli's antics.
Virat Kohli turned to Iyer to wildly celebrate the triumph after Jitesh Sharma smashed a six to seal the victory for RCB. Iyer was observed talking icily with his India teammate and did not appear amused at all. Iyer made it apparent that he did not enjoy Kohli's post-match celebration by pushing his arm at one point.

It appears that Kohli's on-field actions irritated more people than just Shreyas Iyer. Following the match, the RCB superstar was attacked with an object, which infuriated another supporter.
In a social media video that has gone viral, Kohli was thrown something. The incident happened while Kohli and his RCB colleagues were making their way to the changing room following the game. One of the supporters threw something at Kohli just before he entered the stadium.
Luckily, neither Kohli nor any other player was struck. Before leaving, the former captain of India gave the stands one more glance.
