A fan broke through security and ran to greet Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) player Virat Kohli on the field, forcing him to take evasive action. The event happened on Sunday, April 13, when the Rajasthan Royals and RCB faced off at Jaipur's Sawai Mansingh Stadium.

In RCB's 9-wicket victory over the Rajasthan Royals, Kohli was the standout batsman. As RCB easily chased down 174 runs, the right-handed batsman got his third fifty of the season.

With Yashasvi Jaiswal scoring 75 runs in 20 overs, the Rajasthan Royals, who batted first, reached 173/4. Important knocks were also played by players like Dhruv Jurel (35*) and Riyan Parag (30).

At a location that doesn't typically host high-scoring matches, the Rajasthan Royals put up a respectable total, but the Royal Challengers of Bangalore (RCB easily chased it down. RCB got off to a great start, thanks to Phil Salt and Virat Kohli.

They scored 92 runs for the first wicket before Kumar Kartikeya got rid of Salt. After smashing 65 runs off just 33 balls, the England star left.

After the game, the fan chose to join the field as Kohli was occupied chatting with opener Yashasvi Jaiswal, batting coach Vikram Rathour, and head coach Rahul Dravid of the Rajasthan Royals.

As soon as he saw the fan, the former RCB captain decided to intervene. Instead of confronting the fan, he chose to flee.

Before the fan could come close to Virat, the security guards rushed onto the field and grabbed him. As the fan was lifted off the ground, it was observed waving at Kohli.
