During Chennai Super Kings' (CSK) IPL 2025 loss to Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), former Indian batsman Virender Sehwag made fun of MS Dhoni's dismissal. Dhoni could not have salvaged the five-time winners, according to Virender Sehwag, who also said that the game might have gone to 11:30.

KKR moves to third spot in IPL 2025 points table

In just 10.1 overs, the side captained by Ajinkya Rahane managed to chase down the mark. With two boundaries and sixes, Sunil Narine amassed 44 runs off 18 balls. In the powerplay, the visiting team amassed 71 runs for one wicket. Despite Narine's dismissal in the eighth over, they continued to move quickly.

Rinku Singh hit a six against Ravindra Jadeja to complete the victory (15 off 12 balls). Ajinkya Rahane (20) and Quinton de Kock (23) also contributed. With just one victory, the Super Kings sit in ninth place. With three victories and three defeats from six games, KKR rose to third place in the standings.
