Virat Kohli was questioned about his relationship with the great Dhoni at the Indian Sports Summit hosted by RCB Innovation Lab. After each over, Kohli disclosed that he would always say something to MS Dhoni.
Speaking about the subject further, Kohli acknowledged that Dhoni must have felt he was crazy for sharing so many details. Kohli was seen chuckling at his elder self as he disclosed this information.
"When MS Dhoni was the captain & I was the vice Captain -- I was always in his ears in every over, like, 'If we put a fielder over there—one to the deep midwicket, one to long on, if the catch is taken, we can' win'—and he was like, 'That is crazy' (smiles)," said Kohli.

Dhoni and Kohli share a great bond
Because they treated each other with the highest regard, Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni had a strong bond. Both as a batsman and as a captain, Dhoni has been instrumental in Kohli's development.
