Yuzvendra Chahal And Dhanashree Verma’s Divorce Rumour Takes New Turn!! Family Breaks Silence

India’s leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal and his wife, Dhanashree Verma, who is an influencer, finalized their divorce and will appear before the court on Friday (February 21) afternoon. The reports confirmed that both had been summoned before the family court in Bandra, Mumbai.

Both individuals will complete the final proceedings after they earn the official divorce certificate. Dhanashree’s lawyer confirmed that the proceedings are underway but refused to make any comment further as the matter is still sub-judice.

Dhanashree Verma demands this as alimony from Yuzvendra Chahal

In the past few days, a lot of reports have been filed regarding the divorce of the couple, with some claiming that Dhanashree has asked for INR 60 crore as alimony from Yuzvendra Chahal. However, a member of her family has completely rubbished all the rumors and warned against spreading misleading information.

“We are deeply outraged by the baseless claims being circulated about the alimony figure. Let me be clear—no such amount has ever been asked, demanded, or even offered. There is no truth to these rumors whatsoever.” The statement expressed.

“It is deeply irresponsible to publish such unverified information, dragging not just the parties but also their families into unnecessary speculation. Reckless reporting like this only causes harm, and we urge the media to exercise restraint and fact-check before spreading misinformation and also be respectful towards everyone's privacy.” The reports claimed.

The divorce is already final, as some of the new reports have confirmed, but Dhanashree’s lawyer has eliminated such statements. She made it clear that such decisions are yet to be made.

“I have no comments to make on the proceedings. The matter is currently sub-judice. The media should fact-check before reporting, as a lot of misleading information is being circulated.” Dhanashree’s lawyer, Aditi Mohan, noted in a recent statement that the press released on February 21 (Friday afternoon).

Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma share cryptic messages

The outrage started to grow and went viral on various social media platforms as the duo unfollowed each other on Instagram. Both of them limited their joint activity, as both celebrities took to their Insta platforms and shared cryptic messages on respective stories on February 20.

“God has protected me more times than I can count. So I can only imagine the times I’ve been rescued that I don’t even know about. Thank you, god, for always being there even when I don’t know it. Amen.” Yuzvendra Chahal wrote his story.

Verma, on the other hand, is happy with how God has turned her worries and trials into blessings.

“From stressed to blessed. Isn’t amazing how God can turn our worries and trials into blessings? If you’re stressing about something today, know that you have a choice. You can either keep worrying or you can surrender it all to God and choose to pray about everything. There is power in having faith that God can work all things together for your good.” She penned down.
