Dhanashree has previously refuted these speculations, blaming "faceless trolls" for propagating "baseless claims."

Chahal may be required to pay ₹60 crore in alimony to Dhanashree, as per a recent social media rumor. The allegation gained steam after InstantBollywood, a renowned Bollywood news feed on Instagram, published a post about it.

According to the Times of India, the couple may be separating. However, no reliable sources have corroborated the ₹60 crore alimony number.

Chahal was acquired by Punjab Kings for ₹18 crore at the IPL 2025 auction. The 34-year-old spinner, who played for the Rajasthan Royals last season, will now represent the Punjab Kings in the coming season.
