Yuzvendra Chahal’s wife, Dhanashree Verma, has once again has found herself in the spotlight with a cryptic post in the social media, as she gave another hint to his divorce drama with the Indian leg-spinner, who was present during the final of the recently concluded Champions Trophy against New Zealand at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Yuzvendra Chahal’s pictures went viral during the contest with RJ Mahvash, fueling fresh rumours of their relationship, as the viral pictures show both the individuals sharing a happy moment in celebrating the Blue Brigade’s victory against the Blackcaps.

Taking to her Instagram stories, Dhanashree wrote a message that went viral immediately as many felt that he pointed her finger at the leg spinner for the entire incident.

“Blaming the woman has always been in fashion.” The post read.

Many predicted it as the subtle response to the growing buzz between Yuzvendra Chahal and Mahvash. The timing of her statement, coming after the viral images of the bowler and the radio jockey, has added more fuel to the already burning fire.

In 72 T20I innings, the Haryana spinner collected 96 wickets in 79 innings at an average of 25.09 and an economy rate of 8.19, with the help of one five-wicket haul.

When it comes to the IPL, Chahal is the leading wicket-taker of the tournament with 205 scalps in 160 games at an average of 22.44 and a strike rate of 17.1, thanks to six four-wicket and one five-wicket hauls at the best bowling figure of 5/40 in an innings.

After his three successful seasons in the Rajasthan Royals, Chahal will play for the Punjab Kings in the IPL 2025 under the leadership of Shreyas Iyer. He will also work under the head coach, Ricky Ponting, as the franchise showed huge belief in the spinner.

The management paid INR 18 crore for his services and won the battle against multiple sides. It will be a huge chance for the leg spinner to put his name up for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2026 in India and Sri Lanka.
