In the well-known 'This or That' challenge, former Indian fast bowler Zaheer Khan chose ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah over IPL greats like Lasith Malinga and Bhuvneshwar Kumar. In the challenge, which began with a match between Lasith Malinga and Dwayne Bravo, Zaheer Khan was called by the names of several cricket players.

Zaheer collected 282 wickets in 200 ODIs while playing for India. He also played a key role in India's 2011 World Cup triumph, finishing as the joint-highest wicket-taker with 21 scalps. In 92 Test matches, Zaheer claimed 311 wickets, including 11 five-wicket hauls.

On X (previously Twitter), Cricbuzz posted a video of their "This or That" segment with Zaheer Khan. Among all the cricket players, including the tournament's retired players, Zaheer was asked to select the best IPL bowler.

Jasprit Bumrah for me: Zaheer Khan

The former Indian pacer chose Lasith Malinga, a teammate of his from the Mumbai Indians (MI), over Dwayne Bravo. Malinga was later selected by Zaheer over Trent Boult and Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

"I think Lasith Malinga has done quite a lot. I'll stick with Lasith Malinga," Zaheer said.

Next, Zaheer had to decide between Jasprit Bumrah and Malinga. Zaheer picked Bumrah with assurance, although he added, "for now."

During the part, the renowned cricketer also chose Bumrah over Sandeep Sharma, Mohit Sharma, and Arshdeep Singh.

"Arshdeep, I think at some stage we'll catch up, but I'll stay with Jasprit Bumrah for now," Zaheer said.

Here is the video:

Jasprit Bumrah was chosen by the 46-year-old as the greatest bowler in Indian Premier League history. At the end of the film, he removed the names of Harshal Patel, Kagiso Rabada, and Mohammed Shami.

One of the most deadly bowlers in IPL history is Jasprit Bumrah. He has been a vital match-winner for the Mumbai Indians (MI), taking 165 wickets in 133 games. Bumrah has solidified his position as one of the world's best T20 bowlers by continuously performing well for his team under duress.

Zaheer Khan starts IPL 2025 as LSG mentor

Zaheer Khan, who took Gautam Gambhir's post in August of last year, will coach the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the 2025 Indian Premier League.

After joining the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and leading them to the 2024 Indian Premier League championship, Gambhir departed to become India's new head coach. Gambhir was then replaced as KKR's mentor by former West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo.

On March 24, at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam, LSG will kick off their campaign against the Delhi Capitals.
